Well, I sure hope the game stay unbalanced, there isn't much point in balance in a solo game, unless something is really unplayable. If you want to have a character that slowly chips at the ennemy life for eons why not, i'm just gonna create a hero who can oneshot people with big attacks.

The amount of point gained is probably too low at the begining, it gets better once you get level and awards but it's true that the begining is a bit too slow. Kirjath View Profile View Posts.

It's more an imbalance of uses for active points. If you set points to bank at "1", you almost never lose any of your collected points. Sure, you can't use boosts or anything, but the randomness of encounters kinda renders using active points useless in the first place.

As for stat balancing, that's the point. At level 1 unknown , you only get 1 roll for most actions. As you gain in hero notability, you get more rolls for your actions. And patrols can only find encounters within 3 levels of your character which depending on the crime level and other villains involved might not be anyone.

Changing Game Pace settings in the options menu can help determine how often you can stumble across schemes and such. Unfortunately, my biggest gripe is how often you gain hero points. It never seems to get above a meager trickle.
